How it works

Five steps to Switzerland

  1. Apply online

Start here, then upload your documents — school transcripts and proof of English. Not sure your certificates qualify? Send them anyway; admissions assesses equivalents individually.

  2. Answer in 72 hours

Admissions reviews your application and responds within three working days.

  3. Reserve your place

You receive a Letter of Acceptance; your deposit secures the place for your intake.

  4. Visa

BHMS issues the documents you need. Non-EU applicants should allow 8–12 weeks — under-18s also need notarized parental consent. See our visa guide.

  5. Start in Lucerne

Move into your shared campus accommodation — it is part of the one all-inclusive fee.

Entry requirements

  • Minimum 17 years old
  • 5 iGCSEs including Maths and English, or equivalent — didn't finish A-levels, IB or Grade 12? You can still qualify; admissions assesses equivalents individually
  • English 5.0 / B2 or equivalent

The Certificate starts every February, May, August, November. Non-EU visa processing typically takes 8–12 weeks, so apply about three to four months before your chosen start — the visa guide covers under-18 specifics like parental consent.

Application form

Takes about two minutes. Admissions responds within 72 hours.

No payment now. Fees and any deposit are only due after your Letter of Acceptance. Under 18? Do this together with a parent — they'll need to co-sign anyway.
