“All-inclusive”, line by line
The official BHMS fee table for 2027 splits the CHF 26'525 into five lines:

Operating expense covers, as the fee table lists it for every BHMS programme: mandatory health & medical insurance · internship placement service · visa, B-permit and local tax · e-campus and internet · complimentary airport pick-up for new students. Accommodation is Shared Standard, LakeSide Campus: a 2-bed shared apartment, no kitchen.
The only extras
A room upgrade is optional, charged as a surcharge on top of the fee:
- Shared Superior, City Campus (3–4 bed shared apartment with kitchen) — CHF 1'200
- Studio Standard, LakeSide Campus — CHF 4'900
- Studio Superior, City Campus — CHF 7'900
A CHF 1'500 room deposit is also required; it is refundable.
Before you commit a franc, ask admissions to confirm all of it in writing for your intake, including BTEC registration, which the fee table does not name. That written answer, not a marketing page, is what you should plan against.

Budget on the fee, not on wishful arithmetic
Whatever the written inclusion list confirms, plan these lines yourself:
- The programme fee — CHF 26'525
- The refundable room deposit — CHF 1'500
- Flights to and from Switzerland
- Personal spending money for the semester

Are there other fee levels or programme variants?
No. One programme, one campus in Lucerne, one all-inclusive price: CHF 26'525. The only options are room upgrades, each a surcharge on top of the fee: Shared Superior, City Campus (3–4 bed shared apartment with kitchen) CHF 1'200 · Studio Standard, LakeSide Campus CHF 4'900 · Studio Superior, City Campus CHF 7'900. A CHF 1'500 refundable room deposit is also required. The fee table shows no tuition-only rate and no per-module pricing.
Can my son or daughter work part-time to cover part of the cost?
No — non-EU students cannot take paid work during the first six months of a Swiss study permit, which is the entire Certificate semester. Plan the family budget on that basis; the visa page explains the rules in detail.
Can the fee be paid in instalments?
Payment schedules are not published on the factsheet, so we do not print one. Admissions confirms payment terms in writing before you commit to anything.
